USCIS Releases DACA Renewal Guidelines
October 26, 2014
If your initial two-year grant of deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) is
expiring, you may request a renewal. There are strict time frames for doing so. DACA renewal must be filed 120 days before your current DACA expires but no earlier than 150 days before it expires. This leaves a small window of time for you to filed your DACA extension.
If you fail to properly renew your DACA status in time you risk losing your work authorization and afruing unlawful presense in the US.
